There’s definitely suspense present throughout, though it doesn’t manage to become truly unsettling. I find the movie’s atmosphere somewhat peculiar, yet surprisingly effective. Certain plot developments are predictable if you pay close attention, still, it remains interesting to follow. The choices made in casting were brilliant; I honestly can't picture anyone else filling these roles as successfully. The direction is superb and the acting is outstanding. It does feel a little bit sluggish at times, but overall I found it quite enjoyable.
