This action-thriller about a disaster felt genuinely good, and in certain aspects even surpassed the initial installment. It benefited from being more focused and moving away from the extended, drawn-out personal drama that previously consumed so much of the film’s length. The aerial shots were quite striking, and considering what it is, the acting was perfectly acceptable. There's definitely some confusion regarding the disaster itself, but I still found it enjoyable. **3.75/5**
