A straightforward storyline easily summarized in just a few lines is somehow transformed into what's presented as a fascinating account of how business in sports was altered in America and a worldwide culture revolutionized—namely, Nike’s partnership with Michael Jordan, considered by many to be the greatest basketball player ever. The film's length doesn't seem excessive thanks to an impressive screenplay and a talented group of actors delivering realistic dialogue. Ben Affleck seems to have made a real effort to elicit such remarkable performances from the cast. The acting is truly exceptional. I’ve rarely seen Matt Damon deliver such a believable performance; he’s fantastic. Jason Bateman and Viola Davis contribute significantly with their engaging portrayals. It's good to see Chris Tucker again, and he successfully captures his comedic timing each time. The playful exchanges between Matt and Chris Messina were my favorite part. Ben Affleck demonstrates considerable skill as a director, the way he guides experienced actors to work together is remarkable. If you appreciate stories that celebrate sports and pivotal moments in history that have shaped our world, then Air would be worthwhile viewing.
