I’ve been looking for something like *After Yang* for quite some time. As someone of Asian descent, it holds a unique significance for me, given how my cultural heritage and feelings of connection to my roots have diminished across generations. I've recently tried to reconnect with what once defined my family history, but that journey has been challenging in an environment where people often seem dismissive of my background. *After Yang* offers comfort by suggesting that a person’s identity isn't simply determined by their origins.
