Hardin’s former romantic partner reappears, and she's more appealing and amusing than his current relationship with Tessa. It's also clear that she delivers a superior performance, though this isn't something anyone solicited. In this installment, Hardin confronts a troubling history: he discloses an incident involving the non-consensual recording of another woman. Surprisingly, she grants him forgiveness by the film’s conclusion. This event prompts a shift in Hardin’s behavior; much to my dismay, he decides to abstain from alcohol. Despite this, it's a strong addition to the story, and the new actress brings something positive, particularly given that the series hasn't previously been distinguished by exceptional acting on Hardin’s part.
