This installment in the After series is easily overlooked. Tessa has managed to move beyond a damaging relationship, and seems to be doing well; however, her former partner reappears with the intention of repeating their destructive patterns—he’s even written a book detailing their history. Predictably, she allows herself to be drawn back in, which paints her as quite naive. It's not a good film overall, and it would probably be safe to pass on it; though there are some amusing moments featuring Hardin consuming alcohol and causing accidental damage to an apartment.
