This installment revisits the turbulent relationship – a push and pull of affection and conflict – between "Tessa" (Josephine Langford) and "Hardin" (Hero Fiennes Tiffin). The apparent focus seems to be demonstrating some level of growth in this couple; they’re starting to recognize that they share more similarities than initially perceived. This also expands upon the roles of the parents, particularly "Trish" (Louise Lombard) and "Ken" (Rob Estes), revealing their own personal struggles, which perhaps explains why their children have become so troubled. It's difficult to determine exactly who this film is intended for. The narrative feels scattered, the dramatic elements are unconvincing and lack impact, and the characters lose their appeal as this wearying series exposes a lot of unpleasantness on screen.
