I purchased this film the day it came out without having seen it beforehand. However, because I’m such an admirer of Charlize Theron, I anticipated that it would likely be enjoyable. As a devoted fan of science fiction, I also figured I’d find it appealing. My inclination is to favor films that offer something unusual, so I expected it to be worthwhile. It turns out, though, I was completely off base!
