The movie aims to be an action film, but it takes an excessive amount of time before anything happens. Once the story does begin to progress, it comes across as a collection of disconnected action sequences rather than something that feels connected or meaningful. I think this is primarily due to issues with the writing itself, not the performances of the cast. The characters are portrayed in an obvious and unoriginal way, the plot is depressing, and the background story is predictable and lackluster, making it difficult to find much to appreciate. Ultimately, I found it tedious and kept pressing the fast-forward button, expecting things to improve; however, they did not.
