This is what it appears to be: a strange idea executed in a similarly unusual way. However, for those who enjoy horror without needing everything to be perfect, there's entertainment to be found. The action sequences are well-done, and the visual effects are surprisingly impressive too. The historical elements of the story—particularly Abraham Lincoln’s accent elevating him to something legendary—are certainly a blend of reality and over-the-top fun, but it remains consistently engaging, thrilling, and violent! I suspect many horror enthusiasts have already watched this, but if you're discovering it later as I did, and approach it with modest hopes, you might end up having a great time and not regretting it afterward. Plus, Rufus Sewell bears a striking resemblance to Adam Ant! 7/10
