I have to admit, when I first learned about the movie's premise, it didn’t really grab my attention. > A young teacher dreams of a position in Istanbul after completing his required time working in a remote village. After a lengthy wait, he begins to feel trapped by this dreary existence. Fortunately, his coworker Nuray assists him in finding a new outlook. However, there was one particular moment that made me understand I was experiencing something truly special. My thanks to Turkey for delivering this film—it was a real pleasure! Now it’s time to count how many times they referred to it as 'About Dry Glasses.' The movie delivers two hours of intense drama; the latter portion feels like a celebration from the director.
