Disney decided to produce a follow-up to the 2013 film *'ABCD'*, but it’s hard to tell they are separate movies because they feel almost exactly alike. *‘ABCD 2'* has the same sluggish and uninspired feeling as its predecessor, although it still includes a large amount of dancing, which might be enough for some viewers. It definitely wasn't for me. They even extended the running time this time around, which was a mistake. The film does attempt to incorporate a more developed storyline than before, but it doesn’t offer anything meaningful and quickly falls into predictable patterns. Like the first one, the script is very weak. A little originality would have been nice. Prabhu Deva returns as Vishnu, and I thought his performance was slightly improved this time, although no other performer made much of an impression. It's overly long and drawn out, just like the previous film. It tries to do too much and drags on for far too long. It’s not good.
