I really can’t say I ever had much hope for _A Wrinkle in Time_, and now I'm certain that any belief I might have held would have been a mistake. It’s disappointing, truly, because it feels like it should be something special—a movie aimed at younger viewers with thoughtful themes and featuring women of colour in important parts could easily have been enjoyable. The film just doesn't manage to achieve that. _Final rating:★½: - Boring/disappointing. Avoid where possible._
