This movie, "A Working Man," serves as a clear demonstration of how a film can miss the mark on nearly every level within its chosen category. It lacks any exciting action, interesting characters, or even a single attempt to bring something new or explore the story in a meaningful way; what we get from David Ayer is a disappointing and completely unremarkable moviegoing experience. Jason Statham puts forth considerable effort to try and improve a project that seemed flawed from its very inception, but his appeal isn't enough to rescue a film destined to be considered among the least impressive of the year.
