This is a genuinely enjoyable installment in the Bond series. It marks Roger Moore’s final performance as 007, and finds him facing off against a disturbing Christopher Walken. Among the existing films, this one stands out; it incorporates everything that makes a Bond film work – thrilling action sequences, comedic moments, stunning scenery, attractive women, an intimidating antagonist, impressive stunts, a memorable theme song, and naturally, Roger Moore in the iconic role of James Bond. It’s disappointing that Barbara Broccoli disregarded all of this traditional appeal with the 2006 revamp. The character has always had a lighthearted quality, but that was lost when they completely overhauled things, making it something I don't feel like watching again.
