The promotional image gives a false impression of how wild the movie really is, honestly. I wouldn’t suggest seeing *A Score to Settle*. While it tries to explore some intriguing aspects of the main character, ultimately, it feels subdued and doesn't quite succeed; that’s just my take on it. Nicolas Cage does bring a certain presence to the screen, which is definitely a positive thing about the movie. The supporting actors aren’t particularly strong, really – I found them all pretty disappointing, and none of them made much of an impact compared to Cage. My biggest complaint about this film is how little there is to enjoy. Considering it's advertised as an action thriller centered on revenge, very little actually occurs until the final moments—and even those are a letdown. There are many superior films in this genre and starring Nicolas Cage available, without question.
