I’ve revisited this film several times throughout the years—the last time being almost a decade ago. Michael Douglas gives a remarkably clever portrayal, and Gwyneth Paltrow manages to keep up with him while also looking very good. It's not an exceptional thriller by any stretch, but I remained engaged until the credits rolled. Andrew Davis’ direction is solid; he previously directed what is considered a superb thriller, The Fugitive. **3.75/5**
