Still, I'd suggest giving it a try because the imagery is striking, and there's a persistent question of whether you can trust the main character. What some might call inconsistencies in the narrative didn’t really concern me—they feel like opportunities for deeper consideration. The conclusion felt rushed, but it does serve to highlight that maybe nobody emerges as truly heroic. It has the feel of something created in an earlier period, possibly overreaching its grasp.
