It's an acceptable film; I don’t foresee a repeat viewing, though I could suggest it to others. It doesn't rise above being ordinary, but it presents a serviceable take on the familiar storyline of a reporter posing as someone else who finds romance. The fact that the person they fall for happens to be royalty certainly provides access to advantages most people would welcome. There’s clearly been considerable effort in the film’s production to convey an image of wealth and status associated with royal life, but what stands out most is its warm Christmas atmosphere. However, this feeling mainly comes from supporting characters and their impact on the royal family.
