The second film about A Street Cat Named Bob finds Luke Treadaway reprising his role as James Bowen, searching for another chapter in their shared history. James encounters someone experiencing homelessness and remembers a Christmas he spent with Bob. A welfare officer raises concerns about Bob’s safety with James on the streets, prompting the local council to question whether it's appropriate for them to remain together. Community members come together to ensure that Bob and James stay united, leading to an online effort to support their bond. It’s a heartwarming film, though lacking in substantial narrative development, featuring antagonists attempting to separate Bob from James and thieves targeting a veterinary clinic that previously provided care for Bob. James undertakes fundraising activities to protect the clinic's future. Ultimately, the movie serves as a memorial to Bob, who passed away not long before its release.
