The clothing choices—white pants, white shoes, dark socks—immediately explain why the chair seemed so resistant! For quite some time during this inventive play, it actively avoided having anyone sit on it, seemingly rebuffing the attempts of a character who clearly struggles with fashion. Eventually conceding that approach wasn't working, he chose instead to simply sit on the floor and disregard the chair entirely. This appeared to briefly succeed in frustrating the almost sulky piece of furniture, but before long, the conflict began again, and the actions of both the man and the chair escalated, as did Ravi Shankar’s energetic sitar music. The question remains: will anyone actually manage to take a seat? It's an amusingly (and strangely?) presented battle that moves quickly through its ten-minute length, leaving me with a smile.
