It was a tedious viewing experience that I doubt I’ll repeat and won't be suggesting to anyone else. I am fond of Adam Scott, and while his performance is the strongest element, it wasn't sufficient to significantly improve the film. The movie deals with serious themes such as divorce, fractured connections, rivalry between siblings, and a sense of unrequited affection, but not in an amusing or entertaining fashion. Other actors occasionally contribute positively to specific scenes, though none remain on screen long enough to genuinely redeem the situation or alleviate the humorless aspects. Those who appreciate comedy centered around emotional distress rather than physical gags may find something worthwhile here.
