The movie has moments where the interactions between the four actresses provide some mild amusement, though that’s essentially its peak entertainment value. The story centers around four friends who have been tracking Tom Brady’s football career and decide to travel to Houston for his Super Bowl appearance with the "Patriots," just before he turned 40—they'll do whatever it takes to get there. After securing tickets, they embark on what turns into a significant adventure. The film attempts to incorporate romance, gentle humor, some family conflict, and illustrate that age doesn’t have to stop people from enjoying themselves. However, the writing isn't particularly strong, and while Sally Field and Lily Tomlin fare somewhat better, Jane Fonda and Rita Moreno don't get enough substantial material. It feels disjointed—too episodic, lacking a smooth progression. Despite these actresses having numerous awards between them, there’s not much genuine spark present. I didn't feel they worked well together as an ensemble, and the film relies heavily on stereotypes, becoming increasingly cheesy and sentimental over time. The ninety minutes pass acceptably, but it doesn't quite warrant a theatrical release. It would be suitable for a Christmas television broadcast, but otherwise, it’s pretty forgettable.
