A weeklong display of Middle Eastern turmoil in London! The 1980 terror attack in London feels like the starting point for this current wave of terrorism originating from the Middle East. It raises a question: why should anyone outside that region concern themselves with conflict happening elsewhere? This film explores precisely that, depicting how events from the Middle East intrude upon Western society. The story is rooted in reality. While the pacing felt deliberate, it’s still a respectable movie. The plot points are fairly easy to anticipate, but it's still worth seeing. It recounts how authorities responded when an Iranian embassy was seized by terrorists making demands of the British government, presenting events through various perspectives of those involved. I feel like some element of the story concerning the hostages is absent. I’m unsure why they chose to portray things with such a negative slant. The acting and production values were good, but it wasn't a standout film this year. It seems few people may even be aware of its existence; it feels more like something made for television, suitable for viewing once. _6/10_
