The film explores what happens when one of four friends discloses that he is gay, how his three companions respond, and the impact it has on their long-standing bond. I’m not familiar with any of the actors involved, but I found their performances enjoyable. Considering the quick production schedule—just 17 days—the direction was surprisingly competent for a first-time director. It's certainly not among the year's finest films or even the best LGBTQ+ movies available, though it does contain some truly good scenes. The narrative is straightforward, portraying four ordinary friends facing an unforeseen circumstance that takes them outside their comfort zones as they attempt to navigate life. The film contains only a few infrequent instances of profanity, making it suitable for a wide audience. It steers clear of many common tropes associated with LGBTQ+ stories and offers a refreshing perspective. The humor is subtle; it consciously avoids potentially offensive topics. Overall, it’s a respectable comedy. Considering its limited budget, the movie has the appearance of a much larger production thanks to solid storytelling.
