This is the third time I’ve watched it; initially, I saw it at the cinema and then possibly on DVD. Neither viewing made much of an impression on me. With the release in 4K, I figured it had been long enough to revisit it, and it was alright. It felt a little too visually elaborate for my liking—though I'm aware that’s Snyder’s signature style—and didn’t quite achieve the emotional resonance he seemed to be aiming for. There are some really impressive scenes, and Gerard Butler is great throughout, but overall, it just didn’t do much for me. It’s likely my least favorite of Snyder's films, although it's been a while since I watched *Sucker Punch*. 3.0/5
