I can’t accept the higher ratings some people are giving this film; they seem like promotional pieces. I honestly can’t imagine anyone who isn’t being paid finding anything worthwhile in a rating above 4 out of 10. Having seen and really enjoyed *28 Days Later* and *28 Weeks Later*, which I consider to be exceptional zombie films—truly the best, as far as I'm concerned—I was eager to see this third installment. Unfortunately, it’s a massive letdown. It comes across more like an unsuccessful spoof than a genuine horror film; almost comical in its failings. Let me explain what I mean: The music is completely inappropriate for the scenes. There’s constant, jarring background noise throughout. The computer-generated imagery and special effects are shockingly poor considering the year—2025. It looked like something made on a tiny budget. There are also these random clips from older movies inserted at odd times, and I have no clue what their purpose is. It seems the filmmakers themselves weren’t sure what they were doing with this terrible movie. I gave up after about 30 minutes and erased it from my collection. That's how awful it is! You'll quickly realize just how cheaply made and low-quality it is once you start watching.
