There’s simply a huge number of foolish, senseless, and poorly thought-out concepts presented here. Initially, the movie has a decent beginning, however, the main character seems irrelevant to what follows, making their introduction feel like a missed opportunity. The storyline unexpectedly shifts direction roughly midway through after that promising start. I suppose the altered infected creatures were intended to be frightening; I instead found them amusing in quite a few instances—and anyone who views this movie will probably see what I mean. The film’s later sections are equally baffling, but essentially, it becomes increasingly ridiculous as it continues. It's best to hold off and watch this one when it appears on streaming services.
