This isn’t quite as enjoyable as the initial Lavalantula, though it's still recommended for those who appreciate films that are deliberately cheesy and entertaining because of their low production values. It’s disappointing that Bubba Smith couldn't participate in these reunion movies resembling the Police Academy series, but seeing some of the cast back together is a nice touch. However, if they were to create another installment, collaborating with someone like Mr. T or members of the original A-Team would be amazing. Alternatively, casting actors from shows such as Saved By The Bell could further enhance the nostalgic appeal. I don’t recall Steve Guttenberg portraying a consistently irritable character reminiscent of Clint Eastwood in the first film; perhaps his relationship with Nia Peeples (who isn't reprising her role here) influenced his performance.
