Walt Disney’s film, 101 Dalmatians, while drawing from earlier material, has managed to establish its characters as enduring favorites, notably Pongo and Perdita. Later adaptations, the live-action films 101 Dalmatians and 102 Dalmatians, take inspiration from the cartoon to present a new perspective on the narrative, with Glenn Close’s depiction of Cruella De Vil being especially noteworthy. Despite some inconsistencies in the storyline, these movies remain highly entertaining. The animated series sequel, 101 Dalmatians Part 2, centers around Patch's adventures in London and expands upon the familiar story. Even though the animated series doesn’t quite match the quality of the original film or its live-action counterparts, it's still recommended viewing for those who enjoy the franchise. Taken together, these four films provide a very enjoyable and remarkable experience; they are certainly worth seeing, with Patch’s storyline adding an additional element of enjoyment to the Dalmatian story world.
