Apu Collection

The Apu Collection is a trilogy of Bengali films directed by Satyajit Ray, released between 1955 and 1959. This collection comprises Pather Panchali (Song of the Little Road), Aparajito (The Unvanquished), and Apur Sansar (The World of Apu). The films are adaptations of two Bengali novels by Bibhutibhushan Bandopadhyay, published in 1929 and 1932 respectively. Frequently recognized as among the greatest films in cinematic history, the three installments collectively run for 340 minutes. The original music for the films was composed by Ravi Shankar. The total revenue generated by the collection is 840,820. Pather Panchali, completed in 1955 and with a runtime of 125 minutes, and Apur Sansar, completed in 1959 and with a runtime of 105 minutes, are key components of this film series.
